i realize that many here still have a form of spirituality or faith, and i mean no disrespect to those individuals.
i suppose i am posting this question to those, like myself, who have come to the conclusion that religion in general is a major hindrance to the progress of our species and needs to be put aside so that we can advance to our full potential.
so my question is, do you think this will ever actually happen, and how do you think we can get there?
Some people need religion. I knew some brothers and becoming a JW was the best
thing for them. Their life before becoming a JW, dangerous characters out
of control. Some people need the invisible GOD..

id wonder how many wives of servants had the upper hand so to speak, on issues, that of course, were supposed to be private, yet gee lets be honest, husbands and wives talk.

i cant recall the scripture, where it says than only a few men will he live to be 80 years or so, can anyone recall that?.
so then im wondering, if it is a fact that men lived long years 900 in some cases, for what reason would god limit our lifespan if our time is so short compared to his?.
how on earth does man go from living 8 and 9 hundred years down to 80 to 100 ?.

If you divide those numbers (900 years) by the number of full moons
in a year (12-13) you get between 70-80 years. Plus can you imagine
filing 900 tax returns.

one of the issues i have been looking at is shunning - and i was shocked to see the misleading information about shunning on the jw.org website: .
You may hear people making this statement "they are just some disgruntle
ex members". But you will never hear this said about ex- JW members. What
you will hear, that org.break up families. That is the first thing that come out
someone mouth when they have a JW in their family, they may say my sister
became A JW and doesn't come around anymore. Face it they not only shun
ex members but also those that refused to except their truth. CULT.
